Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was quite enjoyable overall. The rooms were fairly clean and well-appointed, although the initial room availability experience was a bit frustrating. The service was professional and courteous, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location of the hotel was fantastic, offering easy access to popular attractions. The dining experience was really good, with delicious options available at a reasonable price. However, some aspects of the facilities could be improved for a more positive guest experience.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and very nicely updated. The service was friendly and very helpful, from the customer service rep at the check-in counter to the waiter and bartender who spoiled us. The location was great, within walking distance to restaurants, entertainment, and notable attractions like the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. The dining experience was delicious, with handmade pasta that I really enjoyed. Overall, a fantastic experience with some minor room service hiccups.
The hotel rooms are pretty modern and decent in size for a Historic Hotel, although my specific request for a bathtub was not met as I ended up with a shower that didn't work too well. The location is great for entertainment and attractions but lacks insulation from noise, especially due to its proximity to the elevator. However, the rooms were open and spacious.
